While searching for images of Asteromo, I stumbled upon Fabio Feminò's gargantuan futurological collection. Not content simply to lift two images from the site, here's a selection from one of the galleries, Il Futuro Visto dal Passato.

and the great thing about those ceramic tiles on the lustron homes - which incidentally were a federal disaster in their own right - was that they became the signature cladding of a little chain food mini-empire named "White Castle"
However, I'm sorry to say that the link at the bottom of the post refers to my weblog and not the site for Fabio Feminò. I've made a note of this on my blog - but you might want to change it when you get a chance.
