A nice antidote to the Zhang Yimou mild-extravaganza, which everyone seems to be fawning over. 2008 drummers? Big deal. Sidney had fire breathers covering the entire stadium floor in flames! And like you once wrote, Barcelona had a naumachia. The largest LCD screen? On that huge stage: yawn. And I'll take Atlanta's Jazz funeral dirge and gospel choirs over Lang Lang evoking Liberace. Tower of memory vs. Berkeley's water pyramid. Berkeley wins!
