Pruned: Roman Night

(From one of our regular web haunts comes this evocative photo of Fori Imperiali at night, taken in 1934. We've probably seen many others like it: the crepuscule sky, some mood lighting and reflections, spectral figures haunting ruins shipwrecked in time. But this is exactly what we needed tonight, something to help lull us into an energy-saving, couch-hugging lethargic state, in preparation for the start of yet another very hectic week. Ah, yes, that really hit the spot.)
